There are many ways to get involved in church life, here at Christ’s Liberty Church. We have a range of different teams and relate groups that you can join and support. Joining a team or relate group, is a great way of supporting the church, and will also help you to forge meaningful relationships as you embark on your journey with Christ!
What are the departments to get involved in?
Children's Church
In Children’s church, our goal is to reach the children with the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ and build them up in the excellence & clarity as contained in the word of God. Through Children’s church, we endeavour to “train our children up in the way that they should go, so that when they grow up, they will not depart from it” (Proverbs 22:6). Ushering
Ushers are the first point of contact for all members and visitors to the church, and as you know, first impressions count! So it’s the Usher’s goal to make sure that all who step through the doors are warmly welcomed and are in an environment that is conducive to hearing the word of God. Choir
The Choir is an important component of the Church. The praise and worship teams minister God’s word through music and lead the congregation through song. Not only is praise and worship a form of prayer but it is also one of the most effective forms of spiritual warfare. You do not have to have the ‘best’ voice in the world to join the choir, we will train you! Join the choir team.
First timers
The first-timers team help to welcome all new visitors to the church and help them settle into church life and the CLC family. In the first few weeks and months, the team focuses on follow-up, visits, and answering any questions our new family members may have. Click here to join the first-timers team.
Media and Publicity Team
The publicity team aims to promote church awareness via various channels, including via social media (check out our social media accounts – Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, Youtube , TikTok), as well as through the designing and printing of awareness materials including fliers, banners (and even this website!)
Technical
The technical team is responsible for the audio, visual and camera aspects of the service production. They aim to ensure every aspect of each service and event we host, is audible and captured effectively using modern multimedia technology. You do not need to be the most ‘technical’ to join the team, as training is readily available! Click here to join the technical team
Creative arts
The creative arts team is just that – it’s the team which allows members to showcase the many creative gifts and talents that God has blessed them with. The creative arts team provide performances during services and special events, including (but not limited to) singing, rapping, dancing and spoken word. Click here to join the creative arts team
